Unlike Liquid IV and other popular brands, Water Boy actually contains high levels of several electrolytes, not just sodium like the leading brand. We get enough salt as a society already. We need the OTHER electrolytes like potassium, magnesium and Water Boy contain Potassium Citrate, Magnesium Citrate, and the Sodium Chloride comes from Himalayan Pink Salt, which contains lesser known trace minerals that also function as electrolytes. In fact, I reviewed all of their formulas and I'm quite impressed - everything is in the correct form. For example, theB12 as methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin that is literally bound to the poison cyanide). 

My Critique

I do question why they only put Chloride on the label and not Sodium. Pink Himalayan Salt is the first ingredient - and we all know salt is made of sodium and chloride bound together. Where there's Chloride, there's always Sodium too - but it doesn't appear on the Supplement Facts Panel (except in the Other Ingredients section). Hmm. My guess is they use it as a differentiator from other Sodium containing competitors and Sodium has a negative connotation in the health community. I still think it's an excellent formula, and this isn't a reason to use a lesser product.
